I am a card carrying Liberal. Not the biggest fan of Trudeau. Never have been. I don't agree with the majority of Conservative policies. However, with that being said, Trudeau's lack of strong leadership on this issue (Chinese foreign interference) as well as the return of ISIS fighters will be his undoing. I also believe that the Conservatives have found a leader who "looks" and contorts himself in the mold of a Prime Minister. If they keep the social conservative wing of their party quiet (which Harper always did), this could be a Conservative landslide. I can honestly say, I am torn. I have never been a single issue voter. But goddamn if I'm going to let my fellow citizens be bullied or their families threatened. Especially an MP! If we don't stand up for our leaders safety then we expose our weakness.

Voters don’t seem to recognize that Pierre clearly has a Canada based goal whereas Trudeau and Singh are eyeing their seats on some world governing organizations. Canada is their springboard whereas PP, love him or hate him, sees a better Canada as his personal endgame. Politicians will always have selfish motivation. It’s your duty as a Canadian to pick the one who’s self-interested goal aligns with what’s best for the country. There is zero debate about who in the House of Commons represents that goal. It’s PP.
