The 96th annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade returned to New York City with its giant balloons and spectacular floats on Thursday.
The annual parade featured 16 giant character balloons, 28 floats, 40 novelty and heritage inflatables, 12 marching bands, and of course: Santa Claus!

My mom loved to watch the parade on T.V. This is the first Thanksgiving I am celebrating without her so it was really nice to be able to jump on here and watch it.

We lost an uncle this yeare to cancer back in August our poor family does not have many left in it only 4 of granny's kids

Why all the zooming in and out? 😂 The camera man on this is terrible, we missed most of the floats cause of all the zooming in and out on the other side of the crowd and at one point the traffic signal. 🙄🥴

this has always been a childhood favorite for the holidays. watching the thanksgiving day parade was the best to drink hot chocolate to while my mom and grandmother started thanksgiving dinner🤍snoopy was always the best ! he was the star of the show lolol. great job yet again for providing this for us again this year! happy thanksgiving and happy holidays to all!

This is beautyfull. But the cameraman gives me anxiety . He shots Unimportant things for a long time and doesn't let you see details.

Someone needs to teach this cameraman some basic skills. Terrible job. First the footage was way too hot and over exposed. The camera person would miss entire floats to zoom in on random people texting on their phones. People would be completely out of focus. Don’t send the D team to cover something like this.

Growing up, I'd always get up early and ask if I could watch this on tv and then I'd love watching the dog show afterwards too. i no longer have cable so the internet is a wonderful thing. Thanks to whomever records it, I know multiples do. Great parade as always. Not trying to be mean but curious, that band towards the end before florida's. First thing I saw was they looked like hot dogs with antlers. anyone else "see" that as they were walking down the road, lol, maybe a different color scheme would be good. I'm just wondering if I'm the only one that thought the same thing. As they got closer I could see it was meant to be like a reindeer.

Thank you for posting this video it was a great parade but I still can't help from thinking what has become a destination I probably watched 40 or 45 Macy Day parades in my lifetime but for the last few years I have seen a big difference in the floats and even the crowds if you think about it it's sad. New York was once one of the most beautiful States that anyone could ever see or even go visit on their vacations I can't help from wondering is it really still like that today with all the chaos and all of the crime and murdering that are going on they're in that beautiful state. From the Appalachian mountains of Kentucky make New York City and all the other states that the crime rate is out of hand great again God bless Happy Thanksgiving
