Ruling Elite pick their candidates, donate to them and promote them. Ruling elites are just as happy and wealthy as Trudeau is in power as they will be with PP and the Cons, if they get into power. Rich win, the working class lose. That's our choices in a late stage capitalism. Don't believe voting does much, because it doesn't. Politicians aren't saviours, not at all. System change is needed and that starts from the bottom-up, grassroots local level in worker co-operatives and mutual aid, other than those types of developments, nothing is going to get better. Canadian Fed election isn't for over a year. That gives people and communities time to build a better system and can educate each other better too to realize the politicians and mainstream parties aren't here to save us, they are guardians of the capitalist world order and we need to recognize that if we want to change for the better.

Humans born into market capitalism are enslaved and most don't even know it.
