Trudeau “lied and his minions continue to lie!”: Conservative MP kicked out of fiery question period

Debate on Bill C-234 continued to rage during question period in the House of Commons on Wednesday, with one Conservative MP being thrown out of the chamber after he refused to apologize for using language not allowed.
Damien Kurek, an MP for Battle River-Crowfoot in Alberta, was asked to leave by Deputy Speaker Chris d'Entremont after Kurek refused to apologize after he shouted that the “prime minister lied and his minions continue to lie.”
Alleging that someone lied is against the rules of the House of Commons.
“We know he (Trudeau) bullied his (Liberal) Senators. The PM himself was on the phone over the weekend telling them they had to gut Bill C-234,” Kurek emphatically stated.
Conservatives have been pushing Bill C-234, which would exempt more farm fuels from carbon pricing.

Also you speak of conservatism as if it is a set in stone idea. It isn’t. Conservatism, and progressivism change with the times. A century ago the liberals were actually liberal, and the conservatives weren’t. Today, the conservatives are more liberal than the liberals. And I don’t mean liberal as in “progressive” I mean liberal as in actual liberalism, where the government isn’t always in your business. Progressivism is the gas pedal that drives society forward, conservatism is the breaks that keep society from going off the cliff.

Lying and avoiding the question should be a chargeable offence in parliament consisting of some percentage of their net worth and jail time with enough repeated offences.

When has any politician answered a question straight up? If and when things change wonder if you all will be making the same comments and calling for the head of political leader who knows full well they can never fulfill every political promise made to the masses they said that were the one to make life better. Wonder of Polliever would cancel all MPs Senate staff salary increase or refuse them because they are compensated well enough . cancel all severance to MPs Senators Govenor General . And reduce Gaurnteed pensions to all former PMs MPs staff to what the average Canadian receives. Wouldn't that help the cost of governing

I agree, we need major changes to our system from how inquiries are run to if a MP (or PM) breaks ethics laws they are removed and an automatic RCMP investigation is launched with real consequences (for all parties).

The absurdity of this is outstanding. It presumes by default that those who are accorded the title "honorable" and "right honorable" are somehow above reproach and their word beyond contestation. Many in that chamber are not worthy of that esteemed address and display that lack of regard on a daily basis. Telling the truth should never be an offense. The fact that it is, clearly displays the failings of our system which stands on ceremony over recognition of what is objectively true in reality.

No Peter, I haven’t been in a coma. I never was interested in politics though…. But seeing I’ve had my medical choices tampered with, my mortgage and cost of living increased dramatically, I’ve been told when I can come and go and when/if I can see my friends… now these creeps have my attention.
