I hate how these news stations describe These as clashes. One side has rubber coated steel bullets and stun grenades and skunk water, and the other side are throwing rocks and get blamed. Yes, Hamas are launching rockets and I condemn that they are doing that, but from a Palestinian perspective, my perspective, I congratulate them, because Gaza is controlled by Israel, by how far you can fish, the border, and many other things. they are such a small organization compared to something like what Israel has become, but they saw that what Israel is doing is wrong and took matters to theirselves. My dad once was just walking on the street when they arrested him for no particular reason, and they jailed him for 3 months with hundreds of others who have done nothing to deserve that.

War is suppose to settle land disputes. The winning side should kick the losing side out. Then peace.

How hard is it to just agree to a ceasefire? Israel isn't going to make territorial gains in Gaza, not only because of international pressure but also because they don't want to deal with an additional 2 million Palestinian residents. The Palestinians, assuming they do want war, aren't going to win with flimsy rockets when the other side has fighter jets and warships. This is a purely lose-lose situation for both sides.

An Israeli telling a Palestinian: “if I don’t steal your house, someone else will” This basically sums up the entire conflict. In terms of who the good guy is, well israel carries over 100 nuclear weapons, some of the most high tech weapons in the world, carries support from largest lobbyist groups in the world (eg. AIPAC). So yeah we are made to believe the powerful is the good guy and the weak is the bad guy, since the powerful controls the discourse we are made to believe about this war. Anchors in North America have to be careful how to word Israel bombing or they’ll get fired. So we know who the good guy is: it’s “israel”
