Жыл бұрынSpeaking on "The Morning Show," travel expert Marty Firestone has crucial tips for impacted travellers in the event of a WestJet pilots strike.
The union has issued a 72-hour strike notice, which means they could walk off the job on Friday before the Victoria Day long weekend.
WestJet has said it is offering “additional flexibility” to air travellers ahead of the potential strike action by the airline’s pilots to provide “peace of mind.”

I have plans that may be cancelled. If it does I will never fly on a West jet aircraft as long as I live.

What about customers booked after May 21st. I feel like a hostage waiting around to be destroyed by West Jet. My flight is on May 23. What am I to do? They won't cancel my ticket so now I am held hostage. I have not been able to sleep since I heard the news. At least give the customers their money back. If I cancel on my own, I lose 1600 dollars. If I wait until the last minute, I will have to pay close to 4000 for two tickets. At least be loyal to your customers West Jet.

@@mcppro94541 not westjet, but delta helped me out as my first flight was delta, and segment 2 was westjet. I got home but a lot later

customers will have to pay the bills. the flights in canada are already super expensive compared to the world. if they give them raises, then WE WILL HAVE TO PAY alot more for traveling. wait, canadians don't travel so much as americans, asians and europeans already.... why? because our flight tickets already super expensive. hahahaha quality of service is also at the bottom. :) hahahahahaha
