U.S. Rep. Elijah Cummings funeral: Obama, Clintons to eulogize late congressman

The funeral of late Dem Rep. Elijah Cummings, a veteran Democratic lawmaker and civil rights activist who was a leading force in the impeachment inquiry of President Donald Trump, is held at New Psalmist Baptist Church in Baltimore.
Trump, who is scheduled to speak at a historically black college in South Carolina, is not expected to attend the funeral. It is not clear if other White House officials will be there.

I believe the best way we can express our thanks to and honor for Rep Cummings and all our American Statesmen and Stateswomen is to heed his words to us. He implored us to inform ourselves and take part in civilized, civic action. One of his last statements to us, he said, "I beg of you, I beg of you...,". Yes, Rep Cummings, we will do our part and ask our friends and families to do the same. Rest in peace, well done.

He was not a good man... and now he is dead. His widow seems incredibly happy. There are very few tears being shed here or anywhere else for this man. I hope he repented and received the Lord before he took his last breath. Otherwise, he is in a very bad place right now. Everyone needs to come to Jesus while there is still time !!!

Its sad that anyone dies, esp. for family and friends But this guy from what little I have heard was not a saint. These high priced suit wearing morons are making him out to be. And the house needs a good cleaning.
