Pieces of a SpaceX craft landed on Barry Sawchuck's property in late February. "At the end of it all, it belonged to somebody," Sawhuck reflected. He says the experience was educational but he's happy to put it behind him. Two men, who confirmed they were from SpaceX arrived to take away the debris but remained tight lipped about it.
Univeristy of Regina associate professor of astrology, Samantha Lawler said there are real dangers with falling space junk. "It's crazy and it just shows how common this is becoming," Lawler said. "That there will be a lot more space junk falling like this, it will cause damage, it will cause death and it needs to be better regulated."
Sawchuck wouldn't say how much, but he did get paid for returning the space junk. He plans to put those funds towards a rink in Ituna, Saskatchewan where he says Elon Musk is welcome anytime. Moosa Imran has more.

Yup, thats us Canadians lol, but to be fair, the SpaceX guys show up in jeans and a U Haul truck, kind of balances things out a bit🙂

Funny as hell. Canadian farmer gets paid off and gonna use the money to fund a rink. and then random Canadian professor pops up between reporters offers donuts and then afterwards tells about the dangers of what these spaceX folks are doing.

Kind of suspect if you ask me. Why are multiple scientists not involved in something so important?

I think they wanted to look relatable to the farmer, a couple of guys showing up in suits like in the movie MIB might not go over so well lol.

They likely disposed of it at a junk yard or incinerator on the Canadian side. SpaceX just doesn't want evidence that could be used against them in a future lawsuit.

So SpaceX starts launching things in the space and they’re falling back to earth has this ever happened with NASA
@kepstin
@kepstin 5 күн бұрын
A lot of the junk from NASA missions that comes back down to earth has a controlled return, where they plan for it to come down in an area where if any debris survives, it won't cause problems. This usually means having it come down over a remote part of the ocean.

There should be transparency as to what it is and all scientists should have access to it for assessment and evaluation. This is a humankind right. Not an Elon Musk right. We must stop idolizing certain humans and work together for our common good.

@@wpgne ok. I see that now. I didn't read the video description. 1:07 has written "astronomy". Weird that they can't just be consistent. astrology isn't a typo. Someone involved with the description must really think they're the same thing. It would be a little funny and unprofessional if someone typed that because they thought a woman would more likely be a professor of astrology than astronomy.

Hello, May I share the most important news you will ever hear in your entire life? God the Father sent His holy Son Jesus Christ(Y'shua Ha' Mashiach) from heaven to earth, to be born of a virgin. He grew up and died on the cross for our sins. He was put into a tomb for 3 days, and then Abba Father raised Jesus to life and He appeared to people and went back to Heaven. We must all sincerely receive Jesus to be a true child of God. It says in John 1:12 "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name." Will you genuinely believe on Christ Jesus and truly receive Him today, before it is too late?
