Sophie Grégoire Trudeau is back on the Morning Show for the first time since her separation from her husband Justin Trudeau was announced, for a candid conversation on the importance of family mental health.
Sophie Grégoire Trudeau and her husband, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, announced in August that they were getting seperated after 18 years of marriage.
Grégoire Trudeau, a former television reporter, married Trudeau in 2005. They have three children.
In our almost ten-minute conversation, Trudeau talked about the importance of Mental Illness Awareness Week, its objectives, and its impact on Canadians.
We explore the vital connection between emotional literacy and mental well-being, along with insights into recognizing anxiety in teenagers, and safeguarding young minds from social media.

If Canada was so concerned about mental health they wouldn’t have put thousands of people suffering from mental illnesses on to the streets , mental health facilities were closed down and the patients dumped onto the streets in the most callous manner ever witnessed in a so called developed country , it’s Canadas shame that charities for the most part support people suffering from mental health crises, the government washed their hands off any responsibility years ago .

If I want to talk to a therapist I have a 3 hours drive 1 way to do so. So when rich people come around and try to spread how what they do to have strong mental health I roll my eyes...

You are right, they painted your ex-husband as a parfait man, while those who are using him and making profit of it. Early childhood mental health is catastrophic for those you are living with these people who suffer that. Specially when the person denial that or refuse help. Divorce, loss of a love ones, drugs and alcohol are the component who lead to mental health. If you understand good if you don't you are living in the cloud.

Even if you seek professional help, there are very few cures. My experiences with psychiatrists has just been like having a band aid put on. It's why I'm so dismayed at the government talking about stalling MAiD yet again in March 2024 for folks who have suffered unbearably for decades.

Marijuana legalization has dealt a huge blow to mental health of many people including youth. If this guest was educated on this she should have discussed marijuana and schizophrenia, bipolar, addiction, natijuana induced psychosis and links to use both THC and CBD and suicide. The science is there on use and anxiety. Red flag is use of drugs including marijuana.

Another self help video that does not help. Where is God in this video ? The main cause of mental illness is that we are guilty before God, it is called sin, and the only remedy is Jesus Christ. He is the great physician that can heal. As a society we have ditched God and replaced Him with science, and we are seeing the devastating results. I am not saying she is not right about social media, but without God all her advice is futile.
