Not really sure where you got this idea from, but thats not how the concept of speciation works. Any evolutionist would agree. Simply put (there are some nuances especially in other kingdoms like plantae) the lines of speciation are drawn at ability to reproduce and create fertile offspring as a population. Meaning even if some individuals of a population are not able to reproduce because of certain conditions (not sure if progeria would hinder that in men or not), they are still considered no less of a member of their respective species. In this case, human, obviously. Any real scientist would give you a very similar response to mine. Sincerely, an ecologist.

@latusalihyasalim4872 mutations do indeed happen all the time. Possibly in every individual ever to be born, even if it's not a visible or noticeable mutation. Heck, even traits like fair skin, hair, and eyes are mutations. Its theorized that original humans had more melanin, but it slowly evolved out as humans mived north and lived in areas where they received less vitamin D. That doesn't automatically make someone a different species. The concept of speciation, like i said, is quite nuanced and happens slowly over time. Scientists understand that, so it's not always clear where species lines get drawn. That forms some very interesting conversations in the world of conservation. It affects laws like which species or populations get protected under laws such as the endangered species act and whether a species is federally or state listed. 💀 also, I'm not an atheist.
