NWT wildfires: Extreme wind event expected to fuel blazes

As tens of thousands of people hear they'll be able to return home following wildfire evacuations in the Northwest Territories, officials in the territory are preparing for what's being called an "extreme wind event" this weekend.
"This is very serious, the fire is right at our doorstep. We have good friends who have lost everything," Hay River evacuee Candis Carleton said.
As Jayme Doll reports, gusts of more than 60 km an hour are expected in some areas, raising fears the wildfire situation near communities like Hay River and Fort Simpson could worsen.

Gonna blame the wind on arsonists too? You want the actual truth You, these people, and the majority of Canadians aren't important enough that they need to be forced to move into so called "15 minute cities" In the grand scheme of things, the whole city could burn to the ground and for 99.9% of Canadians, nothing would change.
