Moo-ving along: Cows fly over Swiss pastures in helicopter rescue

Cows injured during their summer sojourn in the high Swiss Alpine meadows got a jump on their healthier herdmates on Friday when they got helicopter rides down the mountain.
Around 10 animals got the lift to land near the Klaunespass mountain pass, around 1,950 metres above sea level.
The rest of the 1,000-strong herd was due to head down this weekend to the Urnerboden area in the central canton of Uri in the annual bovine parade.

0:57 I‘m Swiss and the translation shown when this guy speaks is completely wrong, seems like what he was saying was ignored on purpose because it was not interesting enough or didn‘t fit the story they wanted to tell. Here it doesnt matter but in politics it might, so always be a little critical about translations if you dont speak the language that i being translated. :)

Nobody is saying that the dairy industry isn't cruel in some places (Switzerland is one of the more regulated and cow-friendly places), but how do you know that this particular thing was cruel exploitation? Moreover, the cow was injured. Wouldn't it be more cruel to leave her up there?

Been to Switzerland many times and yes, they are better than China and Eastern Europe, but they still are perpetrators of criminal behavior toward innocent animals. Go vegan for you health, the lives of innocent animals and the salvation of planet Earth.
