I wanted to know more about Mr. Bernier and what he represents, even though I have been a 'conscientious objector' to voting for some time. Quite honestly, he never got a fair chance. At one point the Green party was considered equally 'fringe', yet they have become 'respectable' now, on account of a single issue. In places like France and Israel, the role of small parties can be quite important. They may become 'kingmakers' or participate in cabinet. Canada has managed to make politics incredibly BORING, and the CBC is doing a great job keeping it that way.

Canada is the cleanest country on earth. The air quality of Canada is one of the best. Don't try to fix a problem that's non-existent. Yes we should switch to fossil fuels. Any suggestions? We are ready to hear them out. Actually, the science community has waited decades for this answer so if you could provide it, that would be great. And by "answer it", i mean a viable solution. Not a crappy solution that will be worst than what we have right now. Just look at Germany if you want a reference about bad climate policies. Look at France for successful climate policies. It would actually be easier to do differently if possible. Fossil fuels take a lot of energy and time to get from the ground to your fuel tank. So any alternative that would not worsen our current situation would be way better. Being right does not fix problems. Look at Mr. morally superior Trudeau for references.
