Like for my ethnicity we have the King Norodom Sihamoni of Cambodia who is elected by a monarchy board upon the death of the monarch. A lot of us didn’t respect the former King Nordom Sihanouk for his role in the creation and uprise of the Khmer Rouge and of his power grab but for some of us the Royals represent our culture and the royals should convey as representatives of our people to the country and to the world.
