Halifax's iconic Theodore Tugboat up for sale

I really hope Theodore stays at his iconic home. The Big Harbor just wouldn't be the same without Theodore Tugboat. I've always wanted to get to Nova Scotia and work with Theodore. Hopefully lots, and lots of donations will help him❤ I love Theodore 😢😭

I did a few years in the navy and my first time stumbling drunk through the streets of Halifax I spotted said Theodore tugboat. I was thoroughly convinced I had lost it until learning the next morning that a fullsize Theodore did in fact exist.

I enjoyed watch Theodore Tugboat on television when I was a child. The boat featured in this story is a replica but it should have some kind of Heritage status.

Now that Theodore is in another harbor, maybe that should be a reality. Make a fire tug look like Foduck and build another few tugs to look like Hank, George, and Emily. It wouldn't be the same, though, without Theodore.

I had a ride or two on Theodore when I was a kid and I hope who ever buys him will preserve him and make people's days happier. You all good in my books Theodore. I will always remember the rides I've had.

It'll have to be done right though and I think this is likely to happen if the show started airing in the UK they would probably have it redubbed for British audiences similar to what they did with the US dub of Thomas and Friends

If they put it into service as a tugboat, that would be an amusing site, just normal tugboats helping a big ship and then a tugboat with a face shows up and aids the ship

I was randomly thinking about Theodore today. I didn’t know that there was a life size replica of him! I hope he’s stays where he is and I could visit him someday.

He has been sold. I know that the good folks of Nova Scotia were hoping for a local buyer. Sadly, that's not the case, however I can say that he is going to a very good home, and will be well looked after. I think he will be visiting Halifax in the future too.

I watched the show as a kid growing up in the great lakes area and just in the last few weeks I've seen it pretty consistently in the welland canal and he seems to be kept in good condition

I’m from Australia and I have watched the show on KZfaq and it is a VERY great learning show but for me when I watched it I realised that the things that happened to Theodore happened to years before I watch Theodore tugboat and I wish I had watched Theodore tugboat earlier because now I feel stupid about what happened before I watched the show

Why don't our premiere Rankin Or Justin trudo to keep Theodore in Halifax Like it says in a newscast the show was Made In Nova Scotia cbc The national Says that Theodore is being moved to Ontario And I'm really pissed off about this we are losing one of our tourist attractions

Funny thing i like the irl tugboat but i wish you could convert it into a normal (non Theodore) tugboat cuz i am deeply scared of the tug. Just imagine living near the docks and when you wake up Theodore too's soulless eyes are just staring up at you how would you react?
