Millions of people in the Maritimes, Quebec, and Ontario are set to be caught under a stifling heat dome, which is expected to linger for days. Eric Sorensen looks at the dangers of a heat dome, how people are preparing for the abnormally high temperatures and who could be the most at risk.

During interglacials it gets much warmer, then snaps back into a cooling phase when the oceans cool from the melting glaciers and the atmosphere fills with the number one climate driver, water vapour. We're not going to burn like the UN agenda propaganda states, we're going back into an ice over. If you weren't cognizant of the fact, interglacials last approximately 20,000 years and we're already 17, 800 years into this one. Have a great day.

Wonderful advice! If you know them ask what they need and what they can eat as it might be too hot for them to go grocery shopping. We can be honest and helpful without being invasive. However, there can be predator's who will use helpfulness to steal or harm. Be wise, be kind but know your neighbors.

Ahhhh, the 'Heat Dome', also known as Summer weather trends. Brings to mind the Summer of 77. Even weather is now 'oppressive'. Lets compare the ebb and flow of weather going back a century or two. Oh wait, those records are not available anymore. Theve been replaced by guestimates based on short term numbers. The weather is fine, the Earth is fine. With so many frightening forest fires, how come so many people travelling cross country havnt seen much. Again, Summer in the late 70s. Nothing new. Stop listening to the fear mongering climate nazis. They have their own agendas to push. Nothing manipulates the public quite like fear.

Great time to test Hydro One updates and see if they are ready for hundred of thousands electric cars charging. With very few years left to even 50% mandatory EVs you may want to disregard any requests for power reduction so we can find out if all the carbon tax money is being well invested in the electrical grid. Unfortunately I am looking at another 3C night and am thankful for my gas furnace although not the 46 dollar tax for May and God knows what for June.

With this heat dome, I don't know why no one is mentioning solar powered generators that you buy for camping, to supplement their energy during the day. And why aren't they mentioning wearing a hat or carrying an umbrella to provide some immediate shade? Or carrying mylar emergency blankets, and blue jell packs that stay cold for a number of hours? Or drawing the curtains to make it more shady and cooler inside? There are so many things you can do to prevent overheating when just staying somewhere cool, isn't an option.

Heat wave is a wave that it's not static, it passes by and then it cools off. A heat dome is static, it stays in place like a dome that cover the sky and the heat stays in place for much more longer then a heat wave.

It is fairly hot considering kids are just getting out of school for summer vacation. July and August will be the real months to watch. If it starts getting 40+ degrees like India summers then yes we have a problem. I can't agree with denying until all the evidence is accounted for.
