Extreme heatwaves sweep across Asia as scientist warns "uninhabitable Earth pattern is coming"

As temperatures soar in Asia, extreme heatwaves are affecting several countries in the continent. Vietnam is experiencing temperatures as high as 44 degrees Celsius, while India and the Philippines are also grappling with heatwaves that are putting people's health and livelihoods at risk.
In India, at least two people have reportedly died from suspected heatstroke, while farmers in the Philippines are worried about the impact of the heat on their crops.
Scientist Petch Manopawitr explained why this abnormal phenomenon occurred, saying, "This year beats the year before because of the El Niño effect, that particular region is hotter than normal," adding that an "uninhabitable earth pattern is coming."
"We think that we are fine with the hot weather, but now with the temperature, the heatwave, and the intensity of the long period of hot weather, I think we have to make sure that people know about the risk as well," Manopawitr said.

This year is particularly bad. Its not hot and humid but more like scorching and burning. I go out in the morning smelling french perfume but by noon i smell like roast chicken as my skin has burned. Its that bad. Stray animals like dogs and cats had it worse. We try to help them by putting more water stations in many street corners. But many of them had burned paws from walking in the searing asphalt. Aircon is of lil use, even if you crank it to maximum low, body still feels hot and sticky

I live in Chicago. Our winters are long, brutal and downright abusive so we actually welcome warm weather for the few short months we get it. It’s mid-May right now and still very much jacket and pants weather. We even just had another round of cold and flu, seems like everyone was sick within the last 60days. So we’re begging for summer. But I can only imagine how miserable it would be if it was brutally hot like they’re describing for long periods of time.

Planting trees is good. But is not going to come even close to offsetting annual staggering 37 *billion* metric tons of carbon pumped from miles within the Earth's crust into the air using our atmosphere as a free to use public toilet. Carbon dioxide atmospheric concentrations are now at over 422ppm which are levels not seen on Earth in some 4-million years in the Pliocene epoch. All happening just within the last 200 years since the start of the Industrial Revolution. Keep in mind that plants cycle through carbon dioxide in the air. So, they do not really store it for long at all. Almost *all* the carbon plants took in their tissues is released again after the plant drop foliage, is eaten or dies. Plants also release carbon dioxide at night when they use their energy stores created in the daytime to grow and repair themselves. Only very small amounts of carbon per year get compacted down into bottom of waterbeds to start the very very slow process of fossil fuel formation.

Washington Post 1922 (102 years ago) "The Arctic Ocean is warming up, icebergs are growing scarcer and in some places the seals are finding the water too hot, according to a report to the Commerce Department yesterday from Consulate, at Bergen, Norway. Reports from fishermen, seal hunters, and explorers all point to a radical change in climate conditions and hitherto unheard-of temperatures in the Arctic zone. Exploration expeditions report that scarcely any ice has been met as far north as 81 degrees 29 minutes. Soundings to a depth of 3,100 meters showed the gulf stream still very warm. Great masses of ice have been replaced by moraines of earth and stones, the report continued, while at many points well-known glaciers have entirely disappeared."
