No alterations of any kind have been made to the Holy Book; it has been preserved as it was centuries ago. The Quran is used in its original Arabic from East to West. The text, to its last letter, is unchanged. The Quran affirms: "This Quran is not such as can be produced by other than God. On the contrary it is a confirmation of (revelations) that went before it, and a clear explanation of the Book. There is no doubt in it, from the Lord of the Worlds." (Quran chapter 10, verse37) Muslims believe the Holy Quran is free from any inconsistencies or contradictions. Its knowledge is comprehensive and undying. Time has not and does not outdate this Sacred Scripture, but rather only substantiates its validity. Infinite knowledge and wonders are hidden in this Book to be known only through study and understanding. Without a doubt, translations into other languages can never do justice to the beauty that exists in its original Arabic form. Yet, reading it in the language one understands is the first step in learning what the Holy Quran is about.
