They argued over the fate of American democracy, abortion, immigration, their age, and other families' legal issues.

And they have also fed us Trump’s claim that he won the 2020 election, when he has never been able to deliver an ounce of proof of election fraud…even via multiple Court Room hearings, and they also feed Trump’s story (without question) that Trump has ‘aced’ multiple Alzheimer’s assessments, which…is as likely as Trump being the ‘Champion golfer’ he continually claims to be (but, only on his own courses - where he can cheat without being questioned). Independents were largely moved towards Biden because even in his senior state he was able to answer questions. I don't think anyone would argue Trump didn't look physically better than Biden, but Biden said more without lying. At the end of the day I think most people realize the job of POTUS could be done from a hospital bed. Republicans helped him by saying he was jacked up on some sort of performance enhancing drugs when clearly that was a lie. I guess only time will tell but I don't think Biden performing like Democrats expected him to do is going to sway much of the polls. The fact is Trump is in 2024 a criminal and danger to Democracy. In 2016 even I was like "OK, what's the worst that could happen" if Trump got elected. Then he proceeded to lie and scam the entire country into massive debt and social chaos the likes of which have never been seen. People are going to remember that in November more than this debate. js

LOLLL you’re right, I’ve been working with seniors for almost 17 years and specialized in geriatrics/dementia and he looks and acts like he absolutely has cognitive decline, he looked like he was sun-downing last night, that blank look, mouth agape, word salads, this isn’t a “ph he was just having a bad day” or “he had the flu” ...this is serious and sad his family and “team of experts” continue denying he has a very serious problem. This is elder abuse and the shocker is that Biden's close family members are still for him to continue to run. As a person who deals with a neurological disability, I know how frustrated I get as I continue to decline, but my family is there for me. It's now too late for the DNC to find another candidate if Joe doesn't step down himself, and if he hasn't by now, then it's doubtful that he will. The media has been covering for him for a long time, and now they are acting surprised? No responsibility.

They both talked about golf, and this is not an appropriate debate to have to be a leader of a country. There are problems in the USA, and Canada, and neither country has competent leaders!
