My Lord!! 4 years later and every time I go back to hear you sing at Aretha’s funeral I literally can’t be still🙌🙌 worship and music run through my veins, I sang my first song at age 4 and I quickly realized that my African American brothers and sisters have voices that truly are a special gift from God🙌 I remember praying as a little girl asking God that when I go to heaven I want to sing just like them😊 as I grew older I remember watching the movie roots and that’s when I really understood why you all sing so anointed 😓 your ancestors sang with broken hearts and so much pain, and singing brought comfort, that’s why you all are strong and brave! You all should be proud of who you are! NEVER stop singing! This world needs to hear you bring true worship back🙌🙌 I can’t wait for that glorious day when we all can sing in heaven together!! Where there will be no more pain or sorrow! Where we will worship our savior together forever!! God bless you Jennifer and all my brothers and sisters!
